Awesome! I wasn’t expecting a new episode
Hey Brett, cheers for the new episode and just the last few weeks of episodes. Really appreciate having the show back 🙂
I can’t believe that in all the times I’ve heard Tim on a podcast, he’s never been introduced as “Tim Timminy Tim Timminy Tim Tim Turee.” It’s nice to hear him, anyway.
I always listened to podcasts while playing Fallout 3 or 4, so I never got into the old-timey music on the in-game stations. I’ve hardly listened to any game music in the last couple of generations, it’s usually not gamey enough for me any more. The “ethnic” stuff played on this show reminded me of Peter Gabriel’s “Passion” soundtrack for Last Temptation of Christ.
So happy we’re getting more VGM!
I was really digging the music here. I ended up listening to this three times so far
Great episode and having not played the first two Fallout games I now have another reason to try them out.
I really wanted to thank you for doing another episode so soon after Rocktober and would like to make a suggestion. Yoshino Aoki. I recently found out she is the composer on one of my favorite Breath of Fire IV tracks, A Warring God. After looking her up in wikipedia it was like holy shit, she has gone all this time with no real fanfare but her works really are some of Capcom’s best stuff.
Also, that’s her voice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MmgkU3nBxgY
*note I meant BoF’s music, not all of Capcom, hyper bole
Enjoyed the new episode, always hoping for more!
Fallout was a great choice, now I’m interested in playing those two.
